The whole process took ages. From the first contact to the second meeting and then the rejection, it took 3 months. Also, HR and the hiring department weren't on the same page. The salary that HR confirmed was then rejected by the hiring department. A waste of time for everyone involved.

I sent an open application and got a call on Friday for an interview on Monday, which included a business case. I had to cancel my weekend plans to prepare. During the interview, they gave me a business case where I had to simulate customer interactions. The HR and hiring manager were present and asked a lot about their product portfolio, which I didn't know since I'd never worked in the textile industry before, as I mentioned beforehand. They were generally stiff and unfriendly. I didn't hear back from them for 6 months, even after calling twice. This was by far the worst interview experience compared to others I had. I'd advise their HR to be friendlier, provide feedback or at least an answer on whether a candidate made it to the next round, and consider that candidates might work for their business partners in the future.

After that, I had another phone call with someone from HR. They gave me information clearly, and the whole vibe was friendly.
