The hiring manager told me the job was mine. I interviewed with HR, the hiring manager, and the CCO. I reached out to the hiring manager twice after the interviews but was ghosted. It was unprofessional because they could have at least told me they found someone else or thanked me for my time. Any communication would have been nice. I'm glad I didn't get the job; it was a blessing in disguise. I would never recommend anyone work here.

I applied for this role because my experience matched the job requirements, and the advertised salary range, though broad, included my financial expectations, even if it was at the lower end compared to similar positions. I talked to a recruiter who seemed nice. She mentioned that despite the wide salary range, the hiring manager was only willing to offer the minimum base salary. I explained that this would be a pay cut for me and that my qualifications and experience should justify a higher salary in the current market. The recruiter informed me I was her strongest candidate so far but needed the hiring manager's approval to exceed the base pay. Ultimately, the hiring manager declined to offer more than the base salary. I noticed the job is still open, and they've even reduced the base salary further, which struck me as a major warning sign about the manager and the company.

After an initial screening with the recruiter, I had a 1-hour video call with two managers. It was a pretty standard interview where they asked about my past experience and how I'd handle specific projects and problems. Things seemed to go well, but then there was a 2.5 month gap with no news. I checked in with the recruiter every few weeks, and they kept saying the process was ongoing. The recruiter seemed really unprepared and didn't know much about the actual job, couldn't answer basic questions about the company's structure or culture. That felt like a major red flag.

It was a pretty straightforward interview. I had a single conversation with the credit manager where they asked about my past experience in the field. About two weeks after that, they sent over a job offer, though this was back during the pandemic.
