Applied online. Two weeks later, the recruiter texted saying she tried emailing me without success. I texted back saying I hadn't received the email and was very interested. After the interview, she gave positive feedback and said she'd recommend me for the hiring manager interview, telling me to look out for a message. I even gave her another email to CC. Despite texting and emailing to follow up on the assessment, I never heard back and was ghosted. A friend had the same experience applying for this job.

I interviewed with the CEO and some other folks, and they seemed really impressed. I was pretty sure I was getting an offer, pending references, but then everything went sideways. One of my references wasn't even called back, and the offer was pulled. I spent about 15 hours on this case study they asked for, and I was their top pick. It felt like a total waste of my time, honestly, especially dealing with the senior HR person. Apparently, they've been trying to fill this position for ages, since at least May according to other reviews, and their pay is way below market rate for similar jobs. The senior HR person sent me an apology, but they were pretty unprofessional throughout.

My LendingOne experience was disappointing and made me feel undervalued. I had a promising discussion with the CEO about potential opportunities. However, when I followed up the next business day via email to express continued interest and ask about next steps, I received no response at all. The CEO's lack of communication and disregard for basic professional courtesy was disappointing, reflecting poorly on company culture and showing unprofessionalism and disrespect to candidates. LendingOne's failure to follow up and communicate seems like a systemic issue. This experience has soured my interest in LendingOne. I'd caution others about a lack of responsiveness and respect for their time. My experience was frustrating and unprofessional.
