Teacher
The interview process was pretty easy and felt welcoming. You should be ready for questions about how you fit in and what makes you a unique teacher. Since Leman is a Classical school, it would be a good idea to check out the principles of classical education.
- Describe your ideal daily classroom routine.
- What is your unique selling proposition as a teacher?
- How would you apply the principles of classical education in your classroom?
Teacher
I applied for a PE position online. Then I got a quick call to administration to double check on the availability of a position, they redirected me to the website where my application was submitted. A phone call was made within 2 days to follow up and an official interview time set. The interview was at least an hour and the demands of the position were well explained and my own strategies and skills and experiences were inquired of. Thoughtful questions that emphasized education values, character and integrity, communicative skills and collaborative mindset.
- How would you manage a challenging situation involving a child, a teacher, or a parent?

I had a quick chat with someone, and if they liked me, they'd reach out again. It lasted about 15 minutes. Everyone who spoke with me gave their impressions. Then someone else got in touch and we talked. Based on my years of teaching experience, they offered me a salary and the job.
- What book are you reading these days?
