First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LeMaitre Vascular.
Regulatory Affairs Specialist
I had a great interview process. The people and work environment were really friendly. It seems like a great place to work, with a good location, food, and stores nearby. They also have good ways to incentivize and motivate employees.
- Could you describe your experience with the FDA?
Sales Coordinator
It was a really long process. I met with 5 different people at different times. The first 4 interviews were remote, and then I had to meet in person for the final part of the interview. I didn't get any word on whether I got the job for another week after that.
- Describe how you would manage a challenging situation should one occur.
Area Sales Manager
It was pretty fast. A headhunter contacted me. The offer was better than my current salary. I had a phone call with the sales director, then an in-person interview with him and the European general manager. Finally, we met a third time at a congress with a future colleague from another region and the sales director. The interviews were in English and German.
- What would you do if you had to do something outside your direct responsibilities?
R&D Engineer
I applied online and the hiring manager contacted me via email 3 weeks later. She said she was impressed with my resume and scheduled an interview. 5 days later, we had a video conversation about the position, the company, the work culture, my experience, and my qualifications. It was a non-technical, behavioural interview to gauge the fit. The interview started off in a professional manner with a general introduction of herself, her designation, and a brief summary of the position. She asked me about 10 general questions and in the end, she asked me if I had any questions for her. I asked her some questions about the position and a few general questions about the company's policies, its direction, and immediate goals pertaining to research. She sounded uncomfortable because I felt she hasn't ever been asked such questions and wasn't prepared. It ended on an awkward note because she failed to glorify the company's image in response to my questions. And when I tried to follow up on the outcome of the interview, the hiring manager ghosted me. She did not reply to my emails (2 follow up emails.)
- Can you tell me about yourself and what's prompting your job search?
- In what ways does your background align with the requirements of this role?
