It was a standard 3-step interview process. First, a recruiter screened me. Then, I spoke with the hiring manager, and finally, I met with the hiring manager's manager or a peer. The whole thing took about 3 weeks, probably because they were interviewing other people too.

The interview was conducted over WebEx video and lasted approximately 30 minutes. They went over the job description and my expected responsibilities. It involved basic medical terminology questions and inquiries about which illnesses impact which body systems.

Applied online and a recruiter reached out to set up an interview. I was sent a calendar request without the interviewer asking me if that time slot worked for me. The initial interview was maybe 15 min, going over the basics of my experience and background. I was told I should get an update for a potential next interview the following day. It’s over almost a week since I’ve heard from anyone. Really unprofessional process and gave me a look into the company. Wouldn’t apply there again.

So, the interview experience was pretty bad overall. It started with a manager chat where they didn't really dig into my experience, just threw standard programming questions at me that seemed like they were pulled straight from Google. It felt like I just had to recall definitions. Then, a third-party consultant did a 'tech interview,' which was basically an hour of rapid-fire questions, like a definition quiz. After that, I had a panel interview, which was the worst part. It was over video, and I was the only one with my camera on, which was weird. It felt like nobody was really listening and they all had their own thing to get through. They even asked me MORE definition-based technical questions, after two interviews already focused on that. Plus, they repeated questions their colleagues had just asked me. Even though I got an offer, it was pulled back the Friday before I was supposed to start. Honestly, I'm kind of glad I'm not working there; they seem to have no clue how to treat engineers and just want them to memorize stuff.

  • What's a delegate in programming?
  • Could you define what generics are?
