Research Assistant
The interview process is pretty straightforward, and the interviewers are welcoming. You'll meet the lead P.I. from the lab you're interested in. So, it's quite simple overall.
- How does your experience relate to this lab?
Research Assistant
The interview process was straightforward. I met with several department members and potential colleagues. It felt more like working together and having conversations throughout the day rather than an interrogation. The exact process can differ a lot depending on the professor you'd be doing research with, as they each have their own way of doing things.
- Can you tell me about your previous research and any publications you have?
Research Assistant
First, you apply online and upload your cover letter and CV. For the interview, they'll ask about your availability and propose times. They mainly want to see how well your interests align with the department's current research topics.
