First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Leggett & Platt.
iOS Software Developer
The interview process began with a phone screen where they asked basic questions about employment setup, office location, and salary. Then there was an initial quick interview with a hiring manager where they asked a couple of behavioral questions and the rest were technical. The second interview was with two of the team's lead engineers where they asked more technical questions.
- Can you tell me about your background?
- How do you manage when project requirements change frequently?
- What's your approach to learning when working on a project with limited resources or tutorials?
Software Engineer
So I had a 3-round interview process. First, a quick 15-min HR chat about logistics. Then, I talked with the Hiring Manager, and they asked me some behavioral and technical questions about stuff like JavaScript, React, and TypeScript. The last round was with two senior engineers, which was a really good technical chat where they asked me some scenario questions and dug into my experience with React and TypeScript, plus some behavioral stuff too. Oh, and before all that, after they liked my resume, I had to fill out a questionnaire covering behavioral stuff and my tech skills from past projects.
- What questions do you have regarding React, ES6 principles, JavaScript, and TypeScript?
Software Engineer
Had a phone interview for the first screen. They asked a couple of behavior questions. Then I got rejected 3 days later. The recruiter mentioned the salary for the intern position is 17USD/hr, which is pretty low even for an internship.
- What is your dream job?
