Behavioral

I only went through the first step, which was a phone interview. The interviewer told me about the company and the job, and then asked me some behavioral questions. It was pretty standard for a phone interview. We just chatted. For this role, having great communication skills is really important.

The first step was a quick 2-minute phone chat with the Hiring Manager who asked some questions and if I was available for an in-person chat. That in-person chat was with the same person. It looked like the Hiring Manager didn't have her own office so we had to use another person's. Then I went back for a second interview that was supposed to be shadowing where we got to see what a day is like for a Legal Monkey's employee.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Applied through a link on indeed.com, then got a call with about 3-5 questions and was asked for 3 references. After they called my references, I was called to schedule an interview. I went for a 30 minute one on one interview, and at the end was asked to come back for a 3.5 hour shadowing. I did the shadowing and was asked a few questions at the end about how my day went. I was told someone would get back to me by the end of the week. After all that, I got an email saying they went with another candidate. I'm sharing this because I had to pay for a babysitter for the shadowing, and it seems like they don't consider that it's not easy for people to dedicate their time if the company isn't serious. Their hiring process needs reform.

Behavioral Group Other

You start by applying on jobs.legalmonkeys.com, then there's a phone interview, followed by a face to face interview. After that, there's a shadow process where you get to interact with current employees and learn about the company. Finally, you're informed if you're hired. The whole thing can feel a bit long, but once you get to the shadow process, they make the hiring decision pretty quickly so you don't have to wait around wondering.
