The organization was very communicative throughout the entire hiring process. They made sure to give me time to ask questions and seemed enthusiastic about potentially hiring me. While the compensation might not be the highest, they do impactful work and appear to hire individuals who share similar values and goals as the company.

I reapplied in late November and got an interview invite in January. The first round was super uncomfortable, with one interviewer actually shaking her head and laughing at something I said. There was hardly any back-and-forth with the others. Surprisingly, I got called for a second interview, which went great. They said I'd hear back in a week, but it's been over three weeks with no response, even after I followed up. It's obvious I didn't get the job, and I just wish they'd had the courtesy to tell me.

After submitting my application, I heard back about a month later to schedule the first interview. It was a panel interview with one attorney and three paralegals, who were all very friendly. The questions were pretty standard. Right after that, I had an hour-long timed exercise where I had to draft a client letter and revise some documents. About a week later, I was invited to interview with the supervising attorney. My references were contacted around five days after that, and I received a phone offer a week after the second interview. The interviews themselves were great, but the whole process dragged on, and I had to follow up a couple of times.
