Applied online and got scheduled for an interview about a month later. This was a surprise since past applications to LAS positions took longer (2-3 months) to hear back. The process has about 2-3 rounds. The first round is a panel interview and the second is with senior leadership. I heard back after the first round a month later and didn't get selected. Everyone was really nice. Just be yourself and don't be afraid to show your sense of humor.

I applied for the Investigator role in the Criminal Division at Brooklyn LAS via email and heard back about two weeks later to schedule an interview for another two weeks out. The head of the division and three lawyers interviewed me. They asked some behavioral and philosophical questions, then had me do a mock interview on the spot and asked follow-up questions based on my performance. They asked if I could secure a vehicle if hired and said I'd hear back in two weeks. My references were contacted during that time, but I received a rejection email about a month later.
