First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Legacy Worldwide.
Accountant
Had a series of meetings over lunch. Met with several people, including upper management. Got an offer by email with no problems. I wouldn't stress about it, just be yourself and chat.
- What kind of work do you like?
- Discuss your experience.
Operations and Administrative Director
The hiring process was very fast, from resume submission to getting an interview. I really liked how my interview process was handled. They were very well-prepared for my interview and sent me info beforehand so I could get ready. It was a good experience overall.
- Can you describe your relevant previous experience for this role?
Manager
I showed up 10 minutes before my interview. They told me the interviewer was in a meeting, so I had to interview with a different manager who didn't know who I was or why I was there. This interview started 30 minutes late. Then, I was put in front of a bunch of people and asked a lot of questions that didn't have anything to do with the job I applied for.
- Why are you interested in working here?
- Are you married?
- Do you like karaoke?
Lead Copywriter
The CEO emailed me directly after finding my resume on Monster.com. When I arrived for my interview on Friday, I was met by the executive producer instead. This was unexpected as I hadn't prepared to meet him or researched him specifically. The CEO joined later and asked, "Are you married?" as his first question. He also used the word "retarded" inappropriately. Despite this, he offered me the job. I mentioned I could only start at the beginning of the next month, but he wanted me to come in earlier to shadow someone and participate in a shoot. I said I'd think about it, and he promised a formal offer letter over the weekend. The letter never arrived. After a week, I inquired about it. He explained there was a medical emergency on the team and they were dealing with it, promising an update in a few weeks. I didn't respond, and he didn't contact me again.
- Are you married?
