The interview process is moving along well, with a notable emphasis on quick onboarding and getting started right away. While this could signal genuine excitement, past experiences suggest it might indicate a shortage of clinicians or difficulty in recruiting/retaining them. I'm choosing to remain optimistic and will share an update on the overall experience.

The interview process started with a phone call with the area manager. It was relaxed and informative, and they were nice and answered everything I asked. Then, I moved on to the HR department. They gave me the offer verbally, and I got an email with the details. All the onboarding stuff was done online through a portal.

Two people emailed me about my availability for phone interviews. I did one phone interview and was waiting to hear back from the other person after I gave them my availability. The phone interview went really well and the hiring manager seemed excited to move forward, but she told me I had to interview with the hiring manager for a different nearby area. She said she'd get back to me in about a week about the next steps. I didn't hear anything from anyone until weeks later when I got a generic 'do not reply' email saying they weren't moving forward with my application. This was disappointing because I followed up with emails thanking them and expressing interest in moving forward. I wish they would have at least directly told me I wasn't selected and why, instead of ghosting me after a good interview.

Had a phone interview with a recruiter. This is the interview where you learn about the job, they ask about your experience, and you get to ask them questions. Then they emailed to set up the second interview. The second interview was in person on site. You tour the place, get to know the staff, they ask you questions about yourself and the field, and you get to ask them questions back.

  • Can you tell me a bit about yourself and your background in this role?
  • What is your experience related to this position?
  • What are your views on the industry?
