It started with a quick phone call, then I had a technical interview on Zoom where I used Python. After that, I had more interviews over Zoom with the Director of Analytics, the CTO, and the VP of Technology. These were to see how skilled I was and if I'd be a good fit for the team.

So, the interview process involved 3 rounds. It started with a phone screen with HR, then a zoom call with the manager, and finally an onsite interview in downtown Chicago with the team. The whole thing took about a month. I got contacted by an employment agency, so I'm not sure how applying directly would work.

HR called me first and said she would get back to me about setting up a time to chat with Greg, the tech manager. After about a week and a half, she called back with a time. I talked to Greg and he told me I'd get a tech interview. A few days went by and I still hadn't heard about the date, so I called HR for an update. She said she wasn't sure and would check with Greg. That was over a week ago and I still haven't heard back. I know they filled the role, which is fine, but a courtesy call or email would've been nice.

The interview process started with a phone screener. Then, I had two more interviews with the product team. They seemed really into it and knew their stuff. We talked about my resume and some hypothetical scenarios about their business goals. A surprise was the company president, who said he hadn't prepared anything and just opened it up for me. I ended up trying to make conversation for 45 minutes, not sure what the right move was.
