First I talked to a recruiter on the phone, then I had an interview with the hiring manager not long after. It was all good vibes. I kept checking in, but then got ghosted for like 3-4 weeks till I got rejected. Just wish I knew earlier.

The recruiting and interview process moved along quickly. The recruiter was responsive and willing to work around my schedule. The interviews were scheduled to accommodate busy calendars. The interviewers asked meaningful questions and gave me a good understanding of the role, the company, and potential career growth. I did end up accepting another offer before finishing the interview process though.

The first phase of the interview consisted of about 40 minutes of a video call. It was a standard conversation with the team lead about my experience and potential job description. A few days later, I received an invitation for the next phase, a video interview with someone on the Power Marketing team. I joined the call and spent 15 minutes on the line, but no one joined the meeting. Moreover, I emailed the HR specialist about that, but again I got no response. From my point of view, this is super unprofessional behavior of the company representatives.

The initial process was fine. I interviewed with the hiring manager, their manager, some supporting leadership, and peers. This whole thing took about two weeks. They gave me a verbal offer, but it was missing a lot of details like salary, benefits, and bonus. I had to chase them for three times over the next two weeks to get the actual offer details. Once it finally came, the role was less senior than what we discussed, and the salary was 20% lower than the figure mentioned during the interviews. It seems like there are too many managers and not enough people doing the actual work at this place.
