First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Leena AI.
Software Developer
It was a two-round process. The first round was a DSA (Data Structures and Algorithms) and LeetCode live coding session where I had to solve medium-difficulty problems with optimal time and space complexity. The second round focused on my resume, system design, and general experience.
- Could you explain Count sort and Morris traversal, and were optimal solutions needed?
- What questions did you have about React?
- Tell me about your experience with scalability.
Associate Solution Consultant
In total there were 3 rounds. The first round was an online assessment that included aptitude and coding questions. The second round involved an introduction, a high-level overview of chatbot system design, and a discussion about your projects. The third round was with HR and consisted of an introduction, a puzzle, a question about how you would design a chatbot for your college admissions process, and a guesstimate question.
- Tell me about your internship experience and the impact you made.
- Can you share your internship experience and highlight the impact you created?
Customer Success Manager
Had a couple of good initial rounds with the Associate Director and Head of Customer Success. The last interview, though, with the CEO was a complete mess. The questions felt totally out of the blue, like why ask math questions to someone with over 5 years in enterprise sales and an MBA from a top school? It ate up most of the 15-20 minutes in that final stage.
- What's your churn attainment?
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Can you give me an introduction? I was I stopped halfway through. I've gone through your CV. The basic rule of sales is that customer success is achieved by letting people speak and not interrupting.
Product Designer
The interview started okay but soon it seemed like the interviewer was more focused on finding faults rather than understanding my background. They wanted me to focus on the design process, but then asked me to skip user research and persona slides, only to later say they didn't get the project's context. When I explained the solution, they asked good questions but interrupted me a lot. They even made a dismissive comment about drop shadows. When I tried to explain that designers need to consider stakeholder feedback, they cut me off and said designers should question PMs and make data-based decisions for the project, like they do at Leena AI. While this sounds good in theory, the interviewer was demeaning, undermined my work, and didn't let me finish. It felt like they were just listening to reply and push their own views, not to listen openly. They criticized me for not diving into research after making me skip it. Overall, Leena AI needs to improve their interviewers' communication skills.
- Can you share and showcase your past projects?
