Had an in-person interview with some new staff, the DM, and HR. There was also a phone interview with someone, but I don't recall who. After that, I waited about a week while they apparently checked my references. Funny thing is, they never actually checked my past employment, they just called my personal references. So, you can totally pad your resume with jobs and then pick your best people for references.

i applied and about 3 days later got a called. i returned the call and was told the interview was on a Wednesday at 2. when i arrived i was told to sit in the front of the store until the managers were ready. as i sat and waited 5 other women showed up. this ended up being a group interview which i was unaware of. the sales associate escorted us to the back and the head manager began speaking and telling us about the business. she introduced us to the other store managers and she also had two employees taking notes on us as well. she asked the basic questions and had us act out a few things. when finished she told us to check our email if she needed additional information then we got the job.

To apply at VF, you need to apply online and have patience. Even though I didn't have much experience, VF saw my potential and gave me an interview. As a new grad, I thought getting into retail would be hard, but I worked hard and got hired. You have to show you're the right fit, especially with little experience.

The interview process was really basic, just one round. They asked easy questions and focused a lot on my availability. It felt pretty informal, and the interviewer made me feel comfortable. I got the job right after and we discussed pay. Then I just had to fill out some paperwork.
