First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lee & Associates.
Research Associate
It was a long interview, about 3 hours. I met a bunch of people and they told me about their jobs and how they got there. I also got a tour of the office space, including the breakroom and other rooms.
- Can you explain why you would be a good cultural fit for this role?
Office Manager
We did two rounds of interviews. They were both well done and made me feel comfortable. The management team was conversational, but they did ask questions that required some deep thinking. While experience in an administrative role is a plus, they mentioned that tech-savvy people with real estate experience could also do well in this interview.
- Can you tell me about your previous administrative responsibilities, specifically those related to Commercial Real Estate Brokerage or Property Management?
Graphic Designer
The interview was a bit intimidating as I had the interview with about 4 people at once; the President, the office manager, the marketing manager, and the individual I was replacing. It was a panel interview and I was to replace the then current graphic designer that was going on maternity leave. I may or may not have been selected for full time stay, but the job offer was double the pay of my previous employment, so I had to take the chance.
- What is your greatest weakness?
- Since you are currently employed, could you forgo your two weeks' notice if we requested you start immediately?
Administrative Coordinator
The initial interview with the Operations Manager went well, aligning on job duties and pay. They needed someone to start right away, which worked for me. However, the second interview with a broker and the managing partner presented a totally different job description and salary. The broker was really rude and almost aggressive for no reason. It was super awkward and unlike any interview I've had.
