First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Leavitt Partners.
Fellow
The process involved an initial phone screen, followed by a panel interview with two directors, and concluded with an HR interview to discuss my skills and assess my fit with the company. The whole thing took about 3 to 4 weeks. It was pretty simple and everyone was nice.
- What makes you want this job?
Business Intelligence Analyst
The interviewers were really chill and made me feel comfortable. We spent time getting to know each other because they think it's important for us to see if we'd work well together.
- Did they ask any case study questions that required out-of-the-box thinking?
Consulting Intern
The hiring process took about 5 weeks from the first step (application) to the last (slide deck demo), and included three main stages: the application itself, a video interview, and a slide deck demonstration. The final hiring decisions were communicated via email about a week after completing the third stage.
- Can you tell me why you're interested in Leavitt Partners?
- What aspects of the healthcare industry particularly excite you?
- How do you approach working within a team environment?
Policy Analyst
I sent in my resume, cover letter, and a writing sample. Then I had a quick 30-minute screening call. After that, there was a video interview (or in-person if you're local, which I wasn't) where three employees interviewed me. The final part was a timed written case study where I had one hour to read three prompts and then write a one-page case study review on one of them.
- Tell me about a time you failed to meet a deadline and how you handled it.
- What aspects of healthcare are you most interested in and what draws you to them?
- What single change would you make to the healthcare system and explain your reasoning.
