It was a friendly and open interview process. The atmosphere was professional and they asked standard questions about my technical experience and my experience in insurance lines. We chatted about my past employers and my duties. The meeting included a few people, and they were easy to talk with. They wanted to make sure my experience matched the job. They laid out the salary and benefits, and were open and honest.

I put in my application on March 6th and got an interview invite the very next day. On March 14th, I had a 30-minute phone chat with two people from the company, and they seemed pretty positive about me and the role. The following Wednesday, I went in for an in-person interview, also an hour long, with the same two people. We talked about the company and the job, but it felt like they weren't totally sure what they were looking for in this position. They seemed to want someone skilled in PR, Marketing, and Advertising, expecting minimal training. Because of this uncertainty, the questions they asked were kind of vague and theoretical. They mentioned I'd hear back within a week since they had just a few more interviews lined up. Two weeks passed with no word, so I sent an email to check in on the process and ask for feedback on my interview skills. I got a brief reply saying they were still interviewing and that my writing skills were good. It's now been two months, and I haven't heard anything back.

So, first I had a phone interview. Then there was a programming test. After that, I waited a week and then had an in-person interview where I met with five people all at once. The whole thing felt like too much. I drove 40 miles each way for it, but then they never got back to me, even after I sent a thank you email and then a follow-up a week later.
