First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Leasure and Cultural Services.
Graphic Designer
Communication was nice, but the hardware support is lacking. Benefits are poor, only offering the minimum AL for contract staff. The upside is no overtime culture and a convenient work location.
- Can you introduce the projects that you handled previously?
Design Intern
It was the interview for summer intern. Two out of the three interviewers asked me questions related to design knowledge, like what is color theory, rather than a normal self-introduction. I chose to talk about my feelings towards LCSD and future ambitions in the design industry.
- Can you explain the color theory behind one of the posters you designed in the past?
Executive Assistant
A hiring manager or HR rep will chat with you about your skills, experience, and how you'd fit in. Depending on the job, you might have to do a technical test, coding challenge, or other skill checks.
- Could you share your greatest strength and a notable weakness?
Intern
I had a panel interview with 3 interviewers. They asked me about 5 questions in total. First, I had to introduce myself in Chinese. Then, they asked me about my strengths and weaknesses. After that, they asked some questions related to the intern role.
- Can you tell me why you're interested in this role?
