First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Learning Care.
Director
The recruiters weren't organized and didn't seem to know the state-specific qualifications for the role. They also missed the scheduled interview and never got back to me after I reached out. Because this was my initial impression of the company, I decided not to accept the offer.

Infant/Toddler Teacher
I applied online for a job at another location, but the manager from the place I got hired saw my application and called me. We had a quick phone interview, and then I went in for an in-person interview. The manager who interviewed me was really professional and super nice. It did take a few weeks though. After my in-person interview, they waited about a week and a half to call me back and let me know I got the job. Then I had to go in and sign a lot of paperwork and go through a big manual. They also have a training day the following week, and then you can finally start working.
- Tell me about a time you had to follow a rule you disagreed with.
Billing Coordinator
Got an email from HR for a phone interview. Did that and it went fine. Now they want to contact references, which is a bit annoying because I don't want them contacted by every company if I don't get the job. The interview itself was pretty standard. Talked to three people: two from the department and then the manager. They asked questions straight off a list. Thought it went well, but then didn't hear back for three weeks until I followed up.
- Can you describe a time when you encountered a challenging situation?
- Tell me about a time when you had to handle competing priorities.
- Can you share an instance where you had to manage a difficult stakeholder?
Software Developer
After they found my resume online, they sent me an interview request. There were 2 interviews in total. The first one was a face-to-face with the team lead and it was very technical. They didn't ask many personality questions. He mostly wanted to know about my previous work. The second interview was more like a formality with the Software Architect and IT Director. These interviews were more about personality to see how well I would fit the team. The original team lead ended up making the decision to hire me.
