The interview itself went well, but the orientation was a terrible experience. Management gave me only four hours to finish, but the front desk staff failed to set me up with a website for a certification number in the morning as they should have. This meant I had to do it later, delaying my ability to finish the computer-based orientation. As a result, it took longer than the allotted four hours, and one of the clerks falsely told HR that I 'refused' to sign out. It was a huge waste of time and money trying to get a job with a company that seems to run a disorganized front operation rather than a professional rehabilitation center. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

The first step was a casual phone screen with the BCBA I would have worked under. Then, there was an interview with 3 people simultaneously, as they were hiring for a specific role in a 'growing region'. A recruiter conducted a video call interview. None of the people I would have directly worked with were present during this interview.

The interview process was conducted via telehealth, which I found really convenient and flexible given my busy work schedule. It lasted about 30-40 minutes, and the interviewer was super outgoing. I only had to go through one interview before they offered me the job.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • I was asked about my certifications.
  • There were questions about ethical scenarios.
  • I was asked to describe a particular teaching strategy and explain its purpose.

The interview wasn't stressful and took place in a pleasant, quiet setting. The whole process was quite fast, lasting about 20 minutes. It was a one-on-one chat where I was asked about managing specific scenarios with children and was also given an overview of the work procedures.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • In what ways would you manage a child who was attempting to self-harm?
  • Can you suggest a creative method for using a standard ball during playtime?
