Reading Intervention Services Manager
The interview process involved several steps. First, I met with John Walsh, and he was very approachable. Next, I had a more in-depth interview with Peggy, focusing on my background and literacy experience. Peggy was both friendly and fair. After that, I met with Amanda, the lead salesperson, to understand the sales process and how the product is implemented in school districts. Lastly, I spoke with Lee, who was interested in my ability to implement the product effectively and ensure teachers had an excellent user experience. Overall, I enjoyed meeting the team and gained valuable insights throughout the interview.
- Can you describe your experience with implementing a new product adoption in a school setting?
Implementation Manager
The whole thing took about two months. The recruiter asked for my availability in the next week, then ghosted me for 3 days. That should have been a sign. After that, I had a phone screen and then another interview with the hiring manager. I gave a final presentation during another interview where the HM screenshotted my work. She said she had no reservations about hiring me, then I was completely ghosted by the company. I got the impression they wanted free labor. I'd run.
- Did you have any standard behavioral questions?
Government Relations Manager
I had a great Zoom chat with John Walsh, the Talent Acquisition leader. He was really easy to talk to, super open, and his communication and follow-up were top-notch. Even though I wasn't the right fit for the job we talked about, John really made an effort to help me out. He gave me some really good advice to help me be a better candidate for other jobs. I'm really thankful I got to connect with someone like him who's so committed to helping people find success.
- Can you share some details about your background and your understanding of the Edtech industry?
Chief Financial Officer
The interview process was very effective. I met with the CEO and VP of HR, and they reviewed my qualifications. They then asked a series of questions designed to test my experience and competence. I then met with other members of the executive team and they shared their experiences with me as well.
- In what ways do you believe you can improve the organization?
