It was a pretty quick process. I had two interviews. First one was over the phone and the second one was on Zoom. The phone call was to see if I was a good fit for the role, and the Zoom interview was to go over the job details.

The CEO of the company contacted me for an interview, at 10:30. They didn't specify a day. I responded asking them if they meant tomorrow, to which they responded yes. It seemed to push to tell me to meet them tomorrow, rather than ask, but I thought I would show up anyway. An hour our for meeting, the CEO emails to angry about the lack of confirmation for the meeting, and saying they will pass on me as a candidate. His tone was rude and unprofesssional, complaining about "wasted time". Again, he didn't confirmation. Huge waste of my time. Both poor communication from company, and irrationally emotional responses from the company. I'm glad these problems raised their head before I accepted a position with the company.

I got a call back pretty fast after applying. They set up the interview for the next week at a Panera. When I got there, I had to wait over an hour and the interviewer didn't even come get me. I had to go find her after she got her food and was chatting with others. About 20 minutes into our talk, she told me she actually needed a teacher, not a site director. During the whole conversation, she was texting a lot and took a personal call. She kept complaining about her back pain, saying she was in a car accident recently. She just seemed really checked out the whole time.

I first visited the office and dropped off my resume, introducing myself to a manager. They mentioned a manager would contact me after reviewing my resume. Three days later, I got an interview invite and met with a manager. We really clicked! I then started in a training position and after a few months of training and evaluation, I was offered a manager role.
