So I had this case study, and after that, the interview just went downhill fast. I get that I'm not perfect and I made mistakes under pressure, but the interviewers were unprofessional and uninterested. They even contradicted themselves, like asking about personalization in the case study and then criticizing it, saying it's overrated. Sorry, I answered your question! They also criticized the use of conversion psychology. The case study didn't even ask about data analysis, which makes you wonder how they draft A/B test hypotheses. Is this how they operate at LEAP? Are they serious about CRO? It's hard not to wonder. I got a standard email later saying how great I was but they decided not to move forward. Such a lack of respect and a waste of my time.

I was contacted by phone and had 2 phone interviews before coming into the office. Once I arrived, I had trouble finding anyone initially. After finding someone, I met with HR for a 15 minute interview, then met with several design team members. The in-person interview lasted about an hour. I got an offer within a week.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • They were more interested in my digital mobile design skills than my creative thinking.
  • They asked a lot about my software skills.
  • They seemed genuinely interested in my overall goals.

I went through a 2-part interview process for this role, which involved an initial phone screen followed by an in-person interview. It was a bit unique because the position reported to two different entities, Leap and Jump. Ultimately, I wasn't chosen for the role because they felt I didn't show enough passion. So, if you're interviewing here and want the job, make sure to show passion, whatever that means.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • The President of Jump asked me if I ever got angry, freaked out, and/or yelled.

The people who worked their were nice but the interview follows a script and they take notes while they are interviewing you. Feels very impersonal since they dont even make eye contact. Also some of the interviewers dont turn on their camera so you are staring at a black screen the whole time.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Describe a situation where you collaborated closely with your team members and the outcome of that experience.
