Behavioral Technical Case

The interview process had five stages. It started with a recruiter phone screen with the Director of People & Talent. Then, I had a Hiring Manager interview with the Chief Product Officer. After that, there was a panel interview including the CPO, a Product Manager, and a Designer. Another panel followed with a Designer and an Engineer. The last stage was a breakout case study discussion with a Product Manager. The Director of People & Talent kept in touch throughout, but after the final round and learning I was close to the end—an interview with the CEO—communication stopped. I followed up multiple times over three weeks and got ghosted. While I get that not everyone gets the job, being ghosted this late felt disrespectful, especially after putting in so much effort. I'm sharing this so others know what to expect and that this company might not respect your time, no matter how far you get. I hope LeagueApps improves their candidate experience.

I applied for the Product and Market Strategy Analyst - Soccer role. Soon after, I had my initial phone screen. Then, I was scheduled for an interview with the hiring manager. Both of those went really well; the people were great and seemed open-minded. The final interview was scheduled next. The interviewer was late and came in with a bad attitude, not even acknowledging they were late, which felt disrespectful. It made me realize this person probably disregards everyone's time and would be difficult to work with. I decided then I didn't want to work there, but I finished the interview to see how it would go. The interviewer asked repetitive, basic questions about market sizing and data gathering, in a way that felt like they just wanted information without any intention of hiring. I didn't want to play that game because the person was rude the whole time. Honestly, if this is the type of person in a senior position, I'd avoid this company.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process was a bit long, but honestly it wasn't that difficult. There were 6 interviews, each about 30 minutes long, with different team members. Plus, there was a 1-hour product exercise. If you prepare a bit, it should be pretty easy, but yeah, it was quite a bit of work.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was a mess. The initial recruiter chat went fine, but when I spoke with team members, they seemed unsure of what questions to ask or how to run an interview, which really threw me off. It also went on for a long time. I went through 4 rounds, and they kept asking the same questions repeatedly, making it feel like an interrogation. They said one thing but their actions were the complete opposite – a major red flag. They completely ignored my interview confirmations and feedback, and the overall disorganization was terrible. The atmosphere definitely impacts how a candidate performs, and they weren't creating an environment where candidates could properly showcase their skills, abilities, and eagerness to learn and grow, which they claimed to value but then contradicted during the interviews.
