Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at League.
Project Manager
Applied online and then got contacted to set up a 30 min intro call. The company advertises a higher salary publicly, but then stated it was lower in the interview. This process lacked integrity. I had a second interview with the team I would be applying to, and it went well. I was later told I wasn't selected and they didn't provide an explanation even after I followed up.
- Can you describe your approach to risk management?
Implementation Project Manager
I applied online and then had interviews with the Director of Talent, another person, and a peer project manager. The interviews felt cold and impersonal. The questions were pretty easy. During the entire conversation, the peer project manager was messaging on IM and openly said that League's top 4-5 clients are all 'difficult clients and hard to make happy.' You should trust the reviews.
- Can you share an instance where you had to manage a dissatisfied customer?
Project Manager
The interview process was quick, efficient, and thorough, which is great in the current fast-paced tech job market. Everyone from HR to the hiring managers was friendly and quick to respond to coordinate follow-ups, answer questions, etc. It was a very positive candidate experience.
- Could you tell me about your background and how it relates to this position?
