First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at League.
Product Manager
I was referred by someone I knew, and the interview process involved five 30-minute interviews, spaced out weekly. Typically, I'd get a response within two days to set up the next interview. The people I spoke with were great, and the job seemed like a good match. However, after the last interview, they didn't mention when I'd hear back about a decision. I reached out a week later, and they mentioned the hiring manager was out on vacation for two weeks. After that, I followed up again about a timeline, and it took another week. Eventually, I got a generic rejection email from someone I hadn't met. It felt unorganized; I expected better communication after investing so much time in the process, at least to set expectations or make it feel more personal.

Product Manager
The interview process was personalized and engaging! I met with the Head of Talent over the phone. She had initially reached out to me with an engaging message tailored to my background and experience as well as with some personal notes. At the time I wasn't interested in making a move and had not hear about League but was happy that she had reached out. The interview itself was personalized and I found it to be one of the better conversations I had ever had with a Recruiter. Although I didn't end up moving forward (due to timing) I had a positive experience and would likely reach out to the contact at League in the future when I am ready to pursue a new challenge. Seems like they are doing cool work there and the person I spoke to was over the moon about the opportunities for growth and impact. Great experience!
- Can you share a time you made a significant error?
Product Manager
The talent director emailed me to set up a 45-minute Zoom chat with someone who's currently in a similar role, but the interview actually went for 60 minutes. About 8 days after that, the talent director let me know via email that I wasn't selected to move forward in the interview process.
