HR reached out about an open role. After discussing, it seemed like a lateral move to a role I'd had before, so it wasn't a fit. I talked about my salary needs and what kind of career growth I'd expect. HR then set up a phone chat with the hiring executive. That call went well, and I was invited for an in-person interview. The onsite interview was over 3 hours long. I felt good about it because the executive seemed to want to create a role for me. A few days after the interview, I got a culture questionnaire. Things went quiet for a few weeks, which was a change from the earlier pace. I noticed a suggestion I'd made was put into practice. I followed up and was told an update was coming soon. A few more weeks passed, and when I followed up again, I was finally told they weren't moving forward with the role. The initial parts of the interview were great, and I enjoyed the chats. However, I was disappointed to be led on about an offer and then ghosted. While I get that things can change, it's rude and unprofessional not to follow up when someone invests so much time.

I sent in my application and heard back from a recruiter about two weeks later. They asked for my availability, and I replied within 24 hours, but then there was complete silence. I emailed again after two days, and still no response. Then I waited another week and sent another email, which bounced back saying the recruiter no longer worked there. I contacted the new recruiter, and they scheduled me for an interview. The initial process was pretty standard and relaxed. After that, there were two more interviews that were really difficult to schedule, and the questions were just okay, not really giving me a good sense of the company. They never got back to me, so it feels like they just wasted my time. It was super unprofessional, and it's obvious the company is going through a lot of changes with people leaving. I'd avoid it!
