First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at League.
iOS Developer
First, a coding take-home project, then an architecture take-home project. After that, I interviewed with 3 developers about coding, followed by an interview with 2 developers about architecture. The final stage included a cross-functional interview and an executive interview. I put a lot of effort into it and submitted a really advanced project using MVP and solid Object Oriented Patterns, but unfortunately, the technical team didn't grasp it. So, if you're looking for a high-standard software environment, this might not be the place.
- Regarding caching, what duration would you set, and how would you manage it if a remote image updates before that time is up?
- If a remote image is updated before the cache period expires, what would be your approach?
iOS Engineer
First, I had a recruiter call, and then they gave me a coding challenge. It was pretty standard, like what most companies do, where they evaluate you based on the challenge. Unfortunately, I didn't pass it, so I don't know what happens next.
- Can you discuss your past work history?
- Which organizations have you been employed by previously?
- What motivates your search for a new opportunity?
IOS Developer
I had a take-home challenge first, and after they approved it, I quickly had an interview with someone from HR. Then they sent me the architecture challenge and I had 2 technical interviews. Some weeks passed and I still haven't heard back. They even sent me a survey.
- How would you approach UI componentization?
