First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Leadership Connect.
Software Engineer
The interviews themselves went pretty well technically, and the people were nice. But the communication from the company was super slow and unprofessional. I had a bunch of interviews and then waited like a month for any kind of update, and my emails to HR just got ignored. It was really annoying to be ghosted like that and not get any follow-up.

Data Science Head
I had an hour-long chat with the recruiter, and it went pretty well. They said my background and experience were a perfect match for the role. After that, I had three more interviews with the CEO, head of product, and CTO. The CEO and CTO seemed a bit disengaged, mostly just asking me to direct questions at them, which was strange. The head of product was the only one who appeared genuinely interested and engaged. I tried to follow up with the recruiter multiple times but got no response. Eventually, the recruiter got back to me with a confusing reason, saying they weren't moving forward because they didn't think my experience fit the team's challenges. This totally contradicted their initial positive feedback, which didn't make much sense.
- Can you tell me about yourself and your professional background?
Product Manager
This was truly the worst recruitment process I've ever been through. I had several interviews - first one was with the talent acquisition director, the next one with the VP of product, and then there were two panels with peer product managers. My final round was supposed to be with the CEO and CTO. After the final round was scheduled and I had spent a considerable amount of time already preparing for it, they canceled the interview one day before and rejected me over email.
- What is your interest in Leadership Connect?
Renewals Manager
My interview with Leadership Connect was great. It was organized, clear, and didn't waste my time. HR was helpful and always upfront. They met their deadlines, which was really nice. The hiring manager also reached out personally to talk about the team and work environment. I really liked the case study; it was tough but interesting and taught me a lot about the product, which I'd used before. I ended up taking another job, but I still think Leadership Connect is a good place that cares about people and growth. I'd tell anyone looking there to go for it.
