First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LeaderOne Financial Corp.
Quality Control
A connection I had inside the company reached out to me. Then I was called in for an interview just two days later. I went in and the interview was great! I learned about the position I'd be taking and tons about the company. They were interested in me and how'd I'd be a good asset to the company. I was offered the position and accepted.
- What are you primarily seeking in a company?
Business Developer
The interview was a bit intimidating because I was interviewed by 3 Managers but I think that is good to get more than one opinion on a person that you are looking to hire for your company. After they decided to hire me the hiring process was so smooth I was working in no time.
- Considering your skills, what contributions do you believe you can make to the company?
Processing Specialist
I was contacted for a Quality/disclosure position. I had previously interviewed for a loan assistant role and had a great experience with the company and the agency that put me forward. When I saw they had another opening, I was eager to apply. The interview started promptly and went very well. I was then informed about another position posted that same day. I was asked if I would be open to being considered for the processing position if the initial role didn't work out. Given my 20 years of industry experience, mostly in processing, I readily agreed. After the interview, I was assured I'd hear back either way the following Monday. Monday arrived with no communication. I called near the end of the day and was told they hadn't finalized decisions yet due to rescheduled interviews. This was confusing as we'd spoken on Friday and decisions were apparently being made then. I was then told I'd receive a callback the next day. Tuesday passed, as did the rest of the week, with no contact. The lack of follow-up, even a simple rejection email, was particularly frustrating. It felt unprofessional to make promises and then not follow through. I also never received any update regarding the other position. My advice is not to expect callbacks when told you'll receive them, even after you initiate contact. My positive impression of the company has diminished significantly due to this loss of trust.
- Could you describe your skills?
Loan Officer
The interview and hiring process was amazing, it was very easy and refreshing change. They answered all the questions I had and were able to get me started into my new career very quickly after I accepted the offer. So excited to be a part of the team and a part of this growing company.
- Was the process difficult?
