Customer Care Manager
I got contacted by a recruiter from Le Tote on LinkedIn because they thought I'd be a good fit. We set up an initial 30-min phone call where the recruiter asked some decent questions and we chatted about my background and the CCM job. He was pretty laid back, though, using words like "bro" and "man." Next up was a 30-40 minute call with the VP of Customer Care. I really clicked with the VP and the conversation felt right for the role. Then, I had an onsite interview with several team members. Most of it went well, but meeting the CEO was tough to gauge; he was kinda unapproachable and hard to read. The VP of Customer Care works remotely, so we couldn't meet that day. I was supposed to go back the next week to see her in person. When that week rolled around, I asked the recruiter about the follow-up meeting. No response. After a few days, I nudged him again. He said he was swamped and would get back to me the following week. Still nothing the next week, so I reached out again. He finally replied saying they weren't moving forward with me but offered some feedback. I thanked him and said I'd appreciate the feedback. I emailed a few more times over the next two weeks, but got no replies, so I just gave up. Basically, I liked Le Tote, the job, and talking to most people there, but the recruiter made the whole process a drag with his lack of follow-up.

Full Stack Software Engineer
I kicked off the interview process with a standard recruiter phone screen. Then, I had two more phone screens with lead engineers from different teams. Since the recruiter liked my performance in the phone screens, they invited me on-site for the final interview. The on-site interview involved meeting with 3 engineers, the PM, and the CTO for about 4 hours. Everyone I met was easy-going and friendly. I was already interested in the product and tech stack, but the people and office atmosphere made it feel comfortable. The next day, the recruiter contacted me with an offer. I ended up getting several offers that week, but chose Le Tote because the people there really connected with me. It was a great experience and I'm excited to join the team soon!

Customer Support Manager
The whole thing took about a week and a half. I sent in my resume online and then right away had a phone screening with the recruiter two days later. That went well and it led to another phone screening with the head of the department. Then I got invited to an onsite interview for the next week, and they said it would be with four people from the team: the first three were from the support team, and the last was with the CEO. About an hour into talking with the first three, I found out the CEO wasn't even going to be there because of something personal, and the recruiter would get in touch to set up a time to talk to the CEO later. I ended up emailing the recruiter 48 hours later because I hadn't heard back, and sadly, I never got a response. (Just so you know, I used MailTracker and saw it was read 10 minutes after I sent it.) Everything went silent after the onsite interview, which I really didn't like. At least an email saying I didn't get the job would have been nice. If this is how they treat people trying to get a job, it's definitely not a place I'd want to work.

Marketing
I was contacted by a Le Tote recruiter on LinkedIn. We had an initial 30-minute phone chat that was a good mix of professional and casual. I was really excited about the job at first. The next step was a phone call with the hiring manager, but after a lot of back and forth to schedule, it ended up being with someone else from the department. I would have preferred to wait and talk to the person I would actually report to. The person on the phone had a condescending tone and kept name-dropping and bragging about his experience. The final straw was when he admitted that two people had held this position in under a year and they were still trying to figure things out. It made me question why anyone would want to advance their career in such an unstable and undefined role. Like another reviewer said, I can't see this as a place to succeed.
