Teaching Assistant
The interview process was very easy and the staff were nice and friendly, overall a good place. It seems like a nice place to work, although I'm not sure about salaries. There was easy access and great parking on site. The staff were very welcoming.
- What can you bring to this role
Radio Engineer
I interviewed here a while ago. First, you have an interview with Leonor, HR. Then, you interview with an engineer. In my case, it was a junior with one year of experience. I noted two main things: 1) The salary is below the industry average. 2) They only consider experience specific to the role. I had interned at a major carrier and worked for a significant telecom company. My academic record was top-tier, and I won several awards during university, making my CV superior for my age. However, this wasn't valued. They only asked about specific junior role experience, disregarding everything else. While I understand wanting someone knowledgeable about the role, for a junior position, I'd expect them to value potential, learning ability, and aptitude. This led me to believe the company is geared towards a standard employee without much ambition for career growth, which is perfectly fine.
- What are the fundamental variables for sizing a network?
Associate Engineer
My friend got an email from the Tech Recruiter about the job. I sent my resume, and they replied asking me to complete a basic questionnaire about myself and my background. About two days later, I got a call to set up an interview for that evening. I interviewed with Nader Famili, the Director of LCC. It was a good experience; the interviewer was helpful if I didn't know something or made a mistake.
- Could you tell me about your small cells project?
- What are the differences between LTE and UMTS?
- What is the bandwidth of UMTS?
RF Engineer
Got hired quickly after a phone call with the manager about a project, with easy questions. Hired over the weekend and started right away. HR was efficient. They can be negotiated with for benefits, but none were offered initially. P.S.: Get all agreements in writing from HR and management to avoid future issues.
