Applied online, then got a phone call for an interview after a few weeks. I went to the district office for an interview that was about 30 minutes long. They called me within a day or two to offer me the position. I wasn't told the hourly rate at first, and the hiring manager said she didn't know it. A couple weeks later, I went back to the district office to do the HR and benefits paperwork. They told me the pay rate before I signed the employment agreement. I started working the next day with about 30-45 minutes of training from a coworker, but no training from the supervisor. I had to do a physical and drug test within a specific timeframe after being hired. They also did a background check.

I had an in-person interview with the Principal of the school. They asked me several questions, and then showed me around the school. Overall, it was a great interview and I liked the school district.

Social Worker
The interview process felt slow. They didn't ask many questions directly related to the job itself. It wasn't a bad experience overall, but it wasn't particularly great either.
