I applied online and a few days later got an email. The recruiter who contacted me wasn't the one I eventually spoke with. The initial screening interview was intense, like a grilling. The recruiter used the whole 45 minutes and didn't allow time for my questions until the very end, and even then, the answers were unhelpful as they didn't seem to have the information. The very next day, I got a rejection email from a different recruiter, stating they were moving forward with someone whose background was a closer match. This makes me wonder if they even looked at my resume. Given the recruiter's reactions, I suspect age discrimination might be a factor. Overall, it felt like a waste of time, and I found the experience disrespectful. This is definitely not a company I'd want to work for.

Got a message from a recruiter on LinkedIn. Then had a screening call that lasted over 45 minutes. They asked a lot about my experience. The recruiter said she'd talk to the hiring manager and send a take-home test. I followed up later, but never heard back. It's a bummer when companies don't even send a quick note to say they're not moving forward.

The whole interview process took 7 weeks, with about 5 hours of video calls. There was a technical test to do at home, which took around 8 hours if done correctly without using AI. The background check was quite disrespectful to my references, asking them to schedule a video call instead of a quick phone call, and they even ran late. After passing all stages, they didn't make an offer and just declined me. I felt it was a huge waste of time for everyone involved.
