Solicitor
The interview process involved a normal interview, a panel interview, and an online screening process. The entire interview took about an hour. It was a really good experience, and everyone was accommodating. I enjoyed having a conversation and meeting the team and community members.
- What motivated your decision to study law?
Associate
First, you send in your resume, cover letter, or portfolio. Then, HR or recruiters will look at it to see if you're a good fit. If you are, they'll give you a quick call to check if you meet the basic requirements, if you're interested in the job, and if you're available.
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
Legal Assistant/Paralegal
It was a quick process, with just one interview. However, they mentioned that more questions and training would come as I started working. I previously worked as a legal secretary and then went to law school while continuing to work at the same office. It wasn't difficult since it's a very small company, and I just had to answer some basic questions.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- How do you manage your time?
- Are you open to traveling to courts?
Trademark Lawyer
It was an exhaustive interview process. They asked if it was necessary, would I be open to a seven-day work week if possible?? We conducted several live sessions simulating court proceedings. We also did some mock presentations where our arguments were challenged. At times, we were asked to present our progress during ongoing litigation. It was an interesting meeting.
- If hired, would you be willing to work on Saturdays and Sundays?
- Are you open to the possibility of working seven days a week if the need arises?
- What are your thoughts on working weekends if the job demands it?
