The interview process was short and sweet, a two-step interview. I liked that it was straight to the point and I didn't feel like my time was wasted. It started with an initial phone screening call with HR, then an in-person meeting with the HR manager. I got the job offer the next day and started working two weeks later.

This was one of the most uncomfortable and unprofessional interviews I've experienced. They asked very personal and aggressive questions. The first call felt monotonous, and the in-person interview focused heavily on personal details rather than my experience. They really need to improve their interviewing techniques.

They called me a few days after I applied on indeed to ask me some questions, and on the same call, they set up an interview for that next week. They asked me to go to Miami for an in person interview following that first interview, and I did. They offered me the job there, but I asked for a week to look over the offer and decide. I ended up accepting because I enjoyed my in-person interview. However, to my surprise, 6 weeks after I accepted the offer, I received an automated messaged saying “we have decided to rescind your offer.” I was shocked by this and emailed them back and called with no response. I waited a few hours and called again to speak with HR. I asked her about the email, and she said they had rescinded. I asked why and she refused to give me any details. I cannot express how unprofessional they are for rescinding randomly and not offering any reasoning. While I am disappointed by how the firm went about this, I am relieved that this happened before I started work so I could see how unprofessional they really are. Definitely not the place for me if they think that this was okay. They also asked me very personal questions at the interview, like: what does your dad do? What is your “background”? What car do you drive? I did find those questions weird when they asked them, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt when I really shouldn’t have.

I had a preliminary call in late 2022 for an Immigration Attorney position. It was a pretty strange interview. The questions were mostly standard, but then I was asked to describe myself in one word, which seemed like an odd filler question not related to my skills. They also asked about my salary expectations. The job was listed at $80k, and I said $120k, which got a scoff and an 'uhh...okay then.' I was told they'd let me know either way. It was so weird that I didn't follow up, and they didn't contact me for a while either. About a month later, I got an email asking if I was still interested. I said yes, but I'd found a better fit by then and didn't follow up further. I've noticed they're still hiring for this role, and the salary has increased from $80k to $90k and now $100k. It's interesting given their reaction to my initial salary request.
