The whole hiring process took about 3 weeks and consisted of 4 rounds. The recruiter was pathetic and unhelpful. After finishing all three rounds, she told me I had cleared everything. It felt like they didn't have a proper hiring process at all, and they were really unclear about what was coming next. They kept saying to wait for a while. It's crazy to make someone wait after their notice period is over without giving them an offer. You need to understand that you aren't the only one with an opportunity, and there are plenty of other candidates. Stop playing with people's careers. Seriously, avoid this kind of hiring process. RIP Lavu Hyderabad!!!!

The process was pretty quick! It kicked off with a 30-min phone chat asking general stuff and why I wanted to join Lavu. Then, I had an in-person interview that went deeper, followed by a skills test and chats with the team. They asked a lot about how I handle pressure, my ideal work setting, and if I was okay with long hours (I am).

I had a chat that went for over an hour with three managers. You gotta get ready to do some role playing and have your own questions ready. Make sure you look into the company and know the product well, and dress sharp. I found making eye contact and being direct with my questions really helped. Don't expect them to be super friendly, they'll push you. Do your homework on the sales rep role. Just be ready for anything!

Behavioral Technical

The interview experience and interactions were pleasant, and I felt informed about the role's responsibilities and encouraged to ask questions. However, I rated the overall experience neutrally because, after three rounds of interviews and a design challenge, the company exhibited a lack of communication, unanswered emails, and ghosting. This demonstrated a lack of professionalism and left a poor impression.
