They had a few surprise phone interviews, then they flew me to Florida. There, I competed against other candidates for the role. We had to argue mock cases against each other and I took a typing test. Then we went to lunch with the managing partner and I had one-on-one interviews with management.

I applied online and got a call back in two weeks. I went in for an interview with two people. Then I was scheduled for a training day the following Monday. I wasn't familiar with the company database, and I almost didn't get the job because I wasn't working fast enough... even though it was my first time using their custom database. The next day I came in for a second chance and worked as fast as I could and got the job. Now I'm faster and more efficient than anyone in my department. The leads and managers are too quick to judge skills and aren't sympathetic to new situations.

I sent my resume in through Monster and got a call from the manager. We talked for a bit and they told me all about the job, like the hours, pay, and what I'd be doing. Then I went in for an in-person interview at the office where they asked me regular interview questions. After that, there was an interview training week where we had classroom learning, shadowed people who currently work there, and practiced taking calls from clients.
