I got an invite to interview with Launch That. It was online and the interviewer was a bit late, showing up 10 minutes after the scheduled time. The interview itself felt pretty standard. I got to ask them some questions at the end. After not hearing back for about a week, I tried reaching out again.

First, I had a remote interview. Then, I was given an editing test to complete. Finally, I went in for an in-person interview where I met the team and got some feedback on my test.

Applied for the job and they got back to me in about two weeks. First, I had a phone interview where they asked standard questions about my experience. Then, a few days later, I had an in-person interview with two marketing leaders. The questions they asked were strange because they could have found the answers on my resume, and they asked irrelevant things not related to the job. The interview took too long, especially for an entry-level job paying $12.50/hour. They seemed to want someone way more experienced, which is weird for an entry-level role. It's been almost three weeks with no word back, so I guess they either hired someone else or forgot about me, which feels unprofessional.

I applied online, then I had to do this super long writing test (over 1300 words!), then a phone screening, a personality test, and finally an in-person interview. The interview itself was fine, they were nice. But honestly, asking someone to do that much work for free upfront should've been a warning sign. After finding out I didn't get the job, I realized they basically stole one of my ideas. Skills tests are okay, but this was just way too much upfront work, really not respecting my time.
