First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Launch Consulting.
Project Manager
The interview process was easy, with only about 2-3 interviews before an offer was extended. The benefits are okay, maybe could be better, but they are better than some other places. They used to be better before the Planet Group acquisition, but there was no choice in the matter so we just went with it. Fortunately, most recruiters were hard-working and nice.
- What are your salary expectations?
Analyst
They're really professional and thorough in their hiring, and they respect candidates' time and skills. I went through their selection process for a software engineering role, and a few things really stood out. The communication was top-notch all the way through, from when I applied to when they made the final decision. HR kept me in the loop with clear and quick messages. I always knew what was happening, like when interviews were scheduled, getting feedback, and what to expect next. This made it easy to prepare without any confusion. The people interviewing me were experts and super professional. They knew the job well and asked smart questions to check my technical skills and if I'd fit in. I liked that they were open to talking and really listened to my answers, which made it feel comfortable and like a real conversation. The interviews covered a good mix of technical tests, behavioral questions, and case studies. This way, they could get a full picture of candidates, looking at both technical abilities and how they solve problems, as well as how they work with others and if they align with the company's values.
- Can you tell me what sparked your interest in our company and this particular role?
Senior Business Analyst
I talked to the recruiter and they said the next step was to meet the client. After a lot of waiting and back and forth about when an interview would be set up, nothing was scheduled. Honestly, it would have been better if they had just closed the loop one way or the other. Also, using text messages for updates felt weird since we hadn't really built a professional connection yet.

Management Consultant
I went through a few rounds with different team members, 3 in total. The final round involved a 30-minute presentation, which felt like a Deloitte-level request for a company of this size. The last call had 5 interviewers, then another hour with the practice manager who wasn't very friendly. I put a lot of effort into the presentation prep but wasn't hired. It felt like they weren't really looking to hire anyone. There were some red flags regarding compensation, with the position listed at different salary ranges. I'm not sure if this was due to a merger and unclear budgets or other issues.
