Pretty standard interview process with multiple rounds of interviews before Covid. It seemed like a cool place to intern.

Behavioral Other

I applied for a Product Owner role, and the hiring manager confirmed this when scheduling the phone screen. However, the interviewer was late and distracted during the 30-minute call. After I discussed my background, he abruptly shifted to asking about a completely different role, insisting it was the one I applied for and that Product Owner wasn't even open. It was unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. I told the hiring manager about the mix-up, but never heard back. It felt like they were just grabbing resumes due to local layoffs. Not worth your time.

I applied online and heard back in under two weeks to set up an in-person interview. When I got there, I had to fill out a paper application again, which was annoying. They wanted past employer addresses and phone numbers, so have that handy. The interview took about 30 minutes and had two parts: first with the team I'd work with, then with HR. It was a casual chat, not a standard 'strength/weakness' type of thing. Expect a background check after this.

I applied a few times before getting an interview. The recruiter was great. I had two interview days. The first day was with upper management, starting with general questions about my background, then two account managers asked situational questions. The second day involved a panel Q&A with three upper managers. After the panel, I had 90 minutes to do three writing samples: a press release, a media alert/pitch, and a run of show for a Wisconsin Department of Tourism campaign. Everyone was professional and welcoming. Given LC's success, I'd suggest asking about success benchmarks and how you'd meet them.
