It was a really quick and straightforward process with several stages. My only gripe is that I didn't actually get to meet my future manager. However, they gave me the resources I needed to do well and were clear about what they expected for the final interview and demo.

I was contacted for a role, but they wouldn't share salary or interview details upfront, saying they hadn't figured it out yet. Then, due to some miscommunication about my experience, they decided not to move my application forward. We talked again, and they mentioned that higher salary ranges were only for specific years of experience, which I met. This made me lose trust because I figured they wouldn't offer a competitive package anyway, maybe preferring someone more junior to handle the tough tasks. I suspect I was overqualified since they asked for people management experience but offered a role that didn't require it.

The interview experience felt very impersonal, almost like talking to a robot, and there were issues with audio quality at several points. The interviewer seemed disengaged and didn't show much enthusiasm for communication. They immediately started asking questions from a list without any initial greeting. Despite following up twice after not hearing back about the role, I was ghosted. This was unexpected from an HR company, but perhaps it was just a performance metric for the interviewer in 2023.
