Media Coordinator
I applied online and got a call for a phone interview the next business day. We chatted for about 20 minutes that afternoon about my background, what I wanted salary-wise, and my career goals. Then I had an in-person interview later that week that lasted an hour and a half. I met with two people at a time, and they asked me the same questions in each interview, like how I stay organized, how I manage stress, etc. They mentioned they needed to fill the role fast, so I followed up midway through the next week and got an automated rejection email about an hour later.
- How do you keep yourself organized?
Media Buyer
I interviewed with a few people, mostly buyers who I would end up working for. It wasn't a group interview, I met with them one-on-one. They were upfront about the amount of work involved, so there were no surprises later on. The onboarding process was pretty weak though. I bought into what they were selling initially, but was disappointed to find out that what they said they did didn't always match what they actually practiced, even though they'd argue they did.
- Can you tell me about your previous experience?
- What motivated you to apply for this position?
- What do you consider your greatest assets and areas for development?
Copywriter/Graphic Designer
The interview was fast. We set up a meeting through Skype. I had already been referred for the job by my current partner. She and I had worked together before. I just had to fill in the blanks.
- Do you know what we do?
- Do you know our accounts?
- Would you be willing to relocate?
Account Executive
Had a phone call with HR first, then met up with a bunch of team members. Mostly we talked about whether I'd be a good fit and my experience, nothing too out there. It was pretty standard, everyone was super nice and great. They answered my questions about the work culture really well.
- How do you handle clients who are unsure about their needs?
