Applied in January, didn't hear back for 2 months, so started looking elsewhere. Got an interview request in early March. The first one-on-one interview was about 20 minutes and felt rushed and unfocused. Thought I'd blown it, but 2 weeks later (longer than expected) got a request for a second interview with the HR team. This group interview was much better with planned, relevant questions. They said they liked me and wanted to do reference checks. A week later, they emailed asking to let my references know they'd be contacted as they hadn't been able to reach them. I said yes and offered to provide new references if needed. It's been over a week since then and I'm unsure if they're still considering me or not. Their HR communication could have been better, which is ironic given the role.

I applied online and then I called Lassen's right after to let them know I applied. I happened to get the hiring manager on the phone and told her of my interest. She called me a week later for a short phone interview, asking what kind of experience I have. At the end of the phone interview, she set up an in person interview for the following day. I interviewed with the hiring manager and assistant store manager. It lasted about 20 minutes and was fairly easy. I was told that they were interviewing many candidates and interviews would last all week. I would be called the following week if I was being considered. They called me two days later to offer me the position.

I had to wait 30 minutes for my interview and didn't even get an apology when the interviewer finally showed up. People kept walking into the office during the interview, making me feel like I was in the way. The interview itself was only about 10 minutes long, and I mostly just talked about nothing. I'm not even sure why I was hired or why I took the job, maybe it was desperation?

There were two interviews in total. First one was with the store manager and the second one was with the region/retail manager. They had good practices and asked clear questions. I got enough information about the job and what was expected. Nothing else important happened during these interviews.
