I had a quick 5-min phone call on August 28th. After that, they offered me an in-person interview, followed by an audition for the mission control role. Just 5 minutes after the audition, I was offered a second interview. They asked scenario-based questions like 'What would you do?' and behavioral questions such as 'Tell me about a time you had a miscommunication and how you resolved it.' There were about 30 questions in total, 15 in the first interview and 15 in the second. They mentioned they'd check my references, and about a week and a half later, they called about them and offered me the job on September 23rd. Now I'm waiting on the background check, which is taking forever.
- Can you share an instance where you contributed to the success of a group you were a part of?

First, there's a phone chat with basic questions to see how you talk. Then, an in-person interview with lots of situational questions where you have to give an example of when you were in that situation. For example, sometimes customers get upset. Tell me about a time you dealt with an unhappy person and how it turned out. Finally, an in-person interview with the General Manager who asks similar questions to the first in-person interview. After a few questions, you'll do the "briefing" in front of the General Manager. Don't stress too much, they're more focused on your speaking ability than how well you know the briefing itself.
- Can you share an instance where you had to handle a dissatisfied customer?

It's a three-step process. First, a phone call, usually with a supervisor. They ask basic questions, and you should sound friendly and chatty because they really like that. Second, a one-on-one with a manager or GM. My interviewer was casual and made it easy. Again, just be chatty. The third step is an audition where you perform the "briefing." Just use a loud voice, and it's okay if you mess up. If you make it to this stage, you've basically got the job.
- Can you tell me about a time you worked as part of a team?
Crew
The interview process included a pre-screen phone call, followed by two interviews. One interview was with the Manager and the other was with the General Manager. Each of these interviews lasted around 20-30 minutes. The questions focused on past experiences in specific situations.
- Have you ever played Laser Quest?
