LaSalle University Interview Questions
& Process

I went through two rounds of interviews. The first was a group interview over Zoom. Then, I had in-person meetings on campus with several people from different offices. I met with a group first, and then I had one-on-one interviews with the Provost.

The whole thing took about 3.5 months from applying to getting the rejection. The interviews were within two weeks of each other, but then there was a long 1.5 month silence. The first interview was online, a panel where they asked standard questions like why I wanted the job, my connection to the La Salle mission, and my experience. They asked for a second interview the day after the first one. This second one had a 1-hour chat with my potential supervisor about behavioral stuff (accomplishments, mistakes, handling students). Then there was a 'campus tour' that was just a quick walk around outside pointing at buildings. After that, another 1-hour panel interview with more specific scenarios: juggling tough situations, fixing student worker errors, and dealing with stress, conflict, or faculty feedback. The people seemed nice, but the lack of communication after the final interview was tough, especially seeing they reposted the job internally soon after.

Applied online and got contacted for an interview within a week. Had an initial Zoom interview with the team (2 staff members). Answered the questions okay but they seemed unprepared to answer pretty standard questions from me. Reached out to HR directly after the interview to get contact info for interviewers and received no response. There was no follow-up from the University or the interviewers.

So first I had a phone screen with the hiring manager. Then there was a panel interview with some staff members I'd be working with. After that, I interviewed with the hiring manager again and also the VP. The last step was a creative design project.
