The interview process started on October 23rd, and it's been a while since I applied. The interview is scheduled for two weeks from now, and I still haven't received any specific instructions. They mentioned it's a two-part process, involving one activity and one discussion.

Teacher
They set up an interview with you through email. They are nice enough to let you know to have a lesson prepared and to email you a temporary parking permit. The interview process involves a teaching demo, student sample essay, and highly confusing interview questions.
- Why is a teaching demo and student sample essay required if the interview questions and answers are the only thing being looked at?
- Is it very unnecessary and unfair to have a teaching demo and student sample essay?
- Why is all of that even needed?
Professor
Standard community college interview process. Application submitted. First interview with a panel of faculty, staff, and students. Second interview with the President and a few others. Very professional and candid. They made me feel welcome and I knew that this was the college I belonged at. They were very quick to respond to me and offer me the position. Everyone on the interview panel was friendly and welcoming.
- Can you describe what it means to work at a diverse learning institution?
Accessibility Specialist
